From coloring to purchasing baked goods to participating in the raffle, there were many ways to support the Cabrini sisters. This year, all of the profits go to support a Cabrini mission in Ethiopia. It is always a blessing to help those in need.

There we were met with enthusiastic tour guides that talked about various Greek/Roman myths. The groups also had some free time to wander through the luxurious gardens, hunt for an Egyptian mummy, and enjoy the warm sunshine. HW:

There is a certain beauty in the lyrical word and all that a person chooses to say (or not say). 5th-8th grade have been creating fantastic poetry this week. It is fitting, especially since April is National Poetry Month. From concrete poems, to focusing on metaphors, similes and onomatopea, each poet gives a glimpse of their inner thoughts.

Right after, I heard this quote from Mr. Roger's in an old children's show called "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood". It is a good reminder that we should have hope in any tragedy.
