PO·ET·RY = literature in metrical form
There is a certain beauty in the lyrical word and all that a person chooses to say (or not say). 5th-8th grade have been creating fantastic poetry this week. It is fitting, especially since April is National Poetry Month. From concrete poems, to focusing on metaphors, similes and onomatopea, each poet gives a glimpse of their inner thoughts.
